Following his success with demanding Eurogames (Barrage, Darwin’s Journey, Nucleum), prolific Italian designer Simone Luciani is taking a striking turn into sci-fi. Teaming up with Marco Elitropi and Alessandro Montagnani, he is preparing a highly ambitious title scheduled for 2027: Mobius, published by Fantasia Games (Unconscious Mind, Endless Winter).
⏳ A Post-Apocalyptic and Temporal Universe
On the planet Mobius, humanity’s relentless pursuit of progress led to its ultimate downfall: an experiment aimed at harnessing time opened a devastating wormhole. Centuries later, six factions clash over now-stabilized temporal portals to seize the lost technological marvels of the past—uncaring of the temporal paradoxes they might unleash.
⚙️ What the Game Has in Store:
-
👥 1 to 4 players for expert sessions lasting 90 to 160 minutes (14+).
-
♟️ Worker Placement & Engine Building: Take control of one of six asymmetric factions to build your engine, fulfill contracts, and assert your dominance.

-
🎴 Raider Cards & Entropy: Adapt your strategy on the fly to surprise opponents in combat, but beware of the dangerous Entropy triggered by altering the timeline.
