As seen in the image image_d52096.jpg, the famous board game Cuba (along with its expansion Cuba: El Presidente) is getting a modern, streamlined re-implementation under a brand-new title: Cubaneo.
At the helm of this project is the original design duo, Michael Rieneck and Stefan Stadler, backed by the artwork of the talented Michael Menzel alongside Stefan Sonnberger. The entire project is being published by Deep Print Games.
The Pitch: Cuba Before the Revolution
Cubaneo immerses us in the hustle and bustle of pre-revolution Cuba. In these turbulent times, the island’s cities strive for wealth, independence, and influence.
Your goal? Become the most influential landowner on the island. To secure victory, you will need to:

Produce and Trade: Cultivate your land and sell your goods on the domestic market, or load them onto merchant ships at the harbor to maximize your profits.

Build an Empire: Construct key infrastructures for the prosperity of the people (and your own!), such as rum distilleries, luxury hotels, or banks.

Play Politics: Send your influential delegates to Parliament to pass laws, alter the rules of the game to your benefit, and sway legislation in your favor.
The player who manages to accumulate the most victory points by cleverly combining shipping, buildings, and political influence will be crowned the winner.
