Designer Alexander Pfister, alongside Peter Prinz, is set to take us on a new frozen adventure with -60°, a strategy game scheduled for release in 2026 from Nanox Games. Designed for 1 to 4 players with playtimes ranging from 120 to 180 minutes, the game plunges us into a scientific expedition in Antarctica following the mysterious impact of a meteorite.
The story begins on September 23, 1971, when a strange light crosses the sky before crashing into the icy continent. Leading a team of researchers, your mission will be to establish a network of scientific stations, explore hostile territories, gather resources, and develop new technologies in order to reach the crash site before your rivals. Between resource management, expedition optimization, and extreme weather conditions, every decision could make the difference between a historic discovery… or complete failure.
With its original theme, immersive atmosphere, and the involvement of Alexander Pfister in its design, -60° is already shaping up to be one of the most intriguing eurogames of 2026. We will have to wait a little longer to learn more about its mechanics, but the first details suggest an adventure that will be both challenging and captivating, set in the frozen wilderness of Antarctica.
