Ten years after making board game history with the iconic A Feast for Odin (currently ranked among the all-time top games on BoardGameGeek), publisher Feuerland Spiele and legendary designer Uwe Rosenberg are preparing a grand comeback.
Originally conceived as an expansion, the project expanded so significantly that it is now launching as a monumental standalone game: THE DANES.

The Danes brings back the magical formula that made A Feast for Odin such a success: a clever blend of worker placement and polyomino tile-laying (Tetris-style puzzle action). This time, however, the game pushes the boundaries even further, offering unprecedented depth and replayability.

A Growing Tribe: The stronger the action you choose, the more Vikings you must assign to it. Every aspect of Viking life is featured: hunting, farming, crafting, trading, sailing, raiding, and emigration.

The 13 Unique “KAUPANG” Boxes: This is the core mechanic of the game. A Kaupang refers to historical Viking-Age trade settlements. The game features 13 unique boxes, each containing double-sided kaupang boards, building boards, special tiles, action upgrade tiles, and occupation cards to make every game feel fresh.
