The publisher Pixie Games has just made a major announcement for strategy and history buffs. Following the success of Daitoshi, their partnership with Devir continues with the official reveal of the French version of Quorum.
Ready your togas and sharpen your speeches: the Roman Empire is waiting for you.
A Journey to the Heart of Political Intrigue
In Quorum, you don’t play as simple soldiers, but as influential Roman Senators. Your objective? Accumulate as much power as possible throughout Rome and its provinces. From military might and commercial growth to divine favors, every decision will carry weight in the Senate.
How to Play
The game unfolds over 12 intense rounds. The mechanics are designed to be fluid and tactical:
-
Card-Driven Action: Each turn, players play a card in front of them to act upon one of the Empire’s provinces.
-
Influence and Majorities: You must balance different spheres of influence to maximize your victory points.
-
The Final Count: The combination of your played cards and the influence acquired in each province will determine who is crowned the most powerful senator.
When Can You Play?
The official retail release is scheduled for April 2026. However, for those who can’t wait, Pixie Games has announced that the game will be available for a sneak preview at FIJ 2026 (the International Games Festival in Cannes)!
