What's this?

The goal of the game is to fill a 4×4 board with flora and terrain cards and by completing animal and ecosystem card objectives to score victory points at the end of the game.

How do you play?

Each turn everyone plays, the active player chooses an action from four action slots on his board and the other players will also do this action but it will be less powerful.

➡️ The active player will be able to choose:

🌱Planting: You can plant up to 2 cards (place cards from your hand in your tableau by paying their cost with your Sol tokens). Then, draw 4 cards, choose 1 to keep, and discard the others.

All other players can plant 1 card in their tableau by paying its cost in soil, and draw 1 card.

💧Watering: You can place up to 6 sprouts on free spaces on your Flora cards on your board. Then you can gain 2 Sol tokens.

All other players can place up to 2 sprouts on their flora or gain 2 Sol tokens.

🌳 Growth: You can draw 4 cards. Then, you can place up to 2 Growth tokens on the Flora cards on your board.

All other players can draw 2 cards or place up to 2 Growth tokens on their flora.

>
♻ Composting: You can gain 5 Sol tokens and draw 2 cards from the draw pile and place them face down in your compost without looking at them.

All other players can gain 2 Sol tokens or compost 2 cards from the draw pile.

🌈 At the end of each action, all players can activate any ability on their tableau and player board that matches the color of the currently selected action .

🔚The game ends when a player fills his board with 4×4 cards, and victory points are counted.

Is it good?

Earth has brilliantly adopted the mechanical concept of Puerto Rico, which results in exhilarating games with no downtime, lasting around an hour for four players.

Which really stimulates the intellect, these are the multiple ways to score points in each game: the race to achieve the objectives of the wildlife cards, the points obtained through ecosystems, and of course, the personalized victory cards on our individual board.

The quest for optimization reaches new heights as each element is skillfully orchestrated to avoid unnecessary tricks, as it will be necessary to juggle the possibilities linked to composting, trunks, Canopies and sprouts , which are added to our victory point counter.

The profusion of cards fuels an incredibly rich replayability.

We could cynically summarize the whole thing as movements of green cubes and trunks, but Earth transcends this basic mechanics.

Something addictive emanates from this game, an alchemy born from the creation of our own motor board, which gains in power, and the incredible variety of choices that the game offers.

The thirst for improvement encourages us to repeat the games, again and again. In short, it’s a real favorite.
