What's this?
The aim of the game is to work together with other players to get all the kites into the air without any of them falling before the end of the game.
How do you play?
➡️ Players will have to play cards to keep the kites in the air, represented by hourglasses of different colors. Each hourglass symbolizes a kite, and it begins to flow as soon as a card is played. Players must therefore juggle the different hourglasses by playing the appropriate cards in time to prevent the sand from completely flowing out.
➡️ Each player has a set of colored cards corresponding to the hourglasses. When a card is played, this allows an hourglass of the same color to be turned over, which puts time back on it. If an hourglass empties completely, the game is lost.
➡️ The game is won if all the cards are played before one of the hourglasses empties. On the other hand, the game ends immediately if an hourglass empties before all the cards are played, and the players lose the game.
Is it good?
Kites is an original and dynamic cooperative card game.
The game offers an innovative approach to cooperative games, with its hourglasses that must not run out. Some coordination will be necessary if you want to succeed.
It is a party game that you will quickly get used to after a few games, but that you will gladly take out again to introduce to new players.
If you are looking for a party game, fast, dynamic and original, you should take a look at Kites.
