How do you play?

Phases of a turn

➡️ Operation Phase:

Play a card from your hand (Advisor or Specialist) to perform actions.

Some cards allow you to replay an operation or chain actions.

You can choose an effect from those offered on the card.

➡️ Disorder Phase:

Check if a Planet exceeds its Stability threshold. If so, place a Disorder token and resolve it.

Options for resolving a Disorder:

Remove or move your Emissaries.

Remove an Institute.

Play a card with a Disorder effect.

➡️ End of Turn Phase:

Discard your played cards by placing them under your deck without changing the order.

Fill your hand up to the authorized limit, determined by your built Institutes.

➡️ Scoring Victory Points:

Use the Senator card to score VPs according to the active Objectives.

➡️ Victory Condition

A player wins if they reach 30 VPs.

If a player exceeds 20 VPs without reaching 30 VPs, they return to 20 VPs at the end of their turn.

Is it good?

Galactic Renaissance is a rather atypical game. The combination of deck building and territory control brings a real freshness to the genre.

You will build a very refined Deck building that you will never shuffle, you will put your cards back under your pile.
