What's this?
Each player must recruit 9 characters from two locations: the Castle and the Village.
The Messenger token indicates where to recruit a character.
At the end of the 9 rounds, the player with the character board that earns the most points wins the game.
How do you play?
Each player, in turn, follows 4 steps:
➡️ 1. Players can spend a key to renew cards or move the Messenger token.
➡️ 2. Buy a card by paying its cost in gold and add it to their tableau.
➡️ 3. Apply the effect of the purchased card (for example, obtain keys or gold).
➡️ 4. Move the Messenger token if the purchased card indicates it and complete the 3 visible cards in both locations (Castle and Village).
End of the game:
The game ends when each player has 9 cards in their tableau.
The final score is calculated by adding the points of the visible cards, the keys kept and the gold stored. Cards can give points according to specific criteria (for example, coats of arms in the tableau).
