Is it good?

Akropolis shines as a family game and having recently distinguished itself by winning the 2023 Golden Ace in the “All public” category.

Offering known mechanics and rules that can be assimilated in only 5 minutes, this game stands out for its efficiency and fluidity, guaranteeing immediate pleasure.

The game offers a dose of reflection by inviting you to skilfully optimize the arrangement of your tiles within your city and a competition will emerge to access certain star-studded places.

Nevertheless, it is true that the game does not reinvent the wheel, and you can sometimes feel a sense of déjà vu. to tile placement games. Personally, it seems to lack that spark of madness or that indefinable element that would make it a must-play for me.

However, Akropolis remains an excellent choice for a broad audience. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a beginner, you’ll enjoy building your own city.
