Behind: The mind-bending puzzle

What's this?

Behind is an innovative board game that skillfully combines puzzle, investigation and deduction. Created by Cédric Millet and published by KYF Edition, this game invites players to reconstruct pictures by assembling double-sided tiles, each side offering distinct visual clues. The goal is to solve puzzles by forming coherent images, then turn the tiles over to reveal the final illustration, thus confirming the success of the challenge.

How do you play?

Behind consists of three distinct scenarios: “The Flight”, “The Professor” and “Imhotep”. Each scenario offers a unique theme and a specific assembly logic, thus renewing the gaming experience.

Players start by choosing a scenario and place the tiles face down on a flat surface.

By carefully observing the patterns, colors, texts and other clues present on the tiles, they try to assemble them to reconstruct a coherent picture.

If a difficulty arises, clue cards are available to guide the progression.

Once the puzzle is completed, players turn over the tiles to discover the final image, thus validating their solution

Is it good?

Behind is a very good choice for players looking for an intellectual challenge in cooperation.

The originality of mixing investigation, puzzle and riddles is very well found. It is a rather unique experience that the game offers you.

Despite the simplicity of the concept, explained in 10 seconds, the game is not easy and you will have to rack your brains to try to solve these riddles.

I recommend it to all lovers of puzzles, deduction, investigations, riddles and intellectual challenges.

A big thank you to the online store Espritjeu who allowed me to test this game by sending me a copy. To discover their catalog, I invite you to visit their website:
