The game keeps the series&#8217; usual format: 1 to 4 players, with games lasting 45 to 60 minutes, for ages 14 and up.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">The theme of this expansion fits perfectly with the spirit of the base game: with the passing of seasons and an ever-changing environment, new opportunities and challenges are never far from reach for the inhabitants of Skara Brae \u2014 whether it&#8217;s an enormous whale carcass washing ashore, growing seal colonies, or the discovery of new production techniques. Concretely, <em>Headlands<\/em> introduces new village cards, 2 new resources, 2 new action tiles per player, and 7 new special action tiles. Solo mode hasn&#8217;t been forgotten either, with new focus and task cards, plus a new optional drafting ruleset designed specifically for that mode.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">With this announcement, Garphill Games confirms its intent to keep evolving <em>Skara Brae<\/em> over time, offering both new strategic options for multiplayer games and a welcome enrichment for solo players.
